Built by people who lived the problem
LegalGEN was founded by attorneys and legal tech operators who watched millions of Americans go without estate plans — not because they didn't want one, but because the process was too slow, too complicated, and too expensive to scale.
We built the platform we wished had existed when we were practicing law.
"The legal industry doesn't have a demand problem. It has a conversion problem. We're here to fix that."
Make estate planning accessible to every American
Attorney-first, always
We believe estate planning must be attorney-supervised. LegalGEN automates process, not judgment. The attorney remains in control at every step — review, approval, and delivery.
Remove the barriers
Cost, complexity, and procrastination keep millions of families unprotected. We remove those barriers by making the process fast, simple, and accessible online — through an attorney's brand.
Help attorneys grow
Solo and small-firm attorneys shouldn't have to choose between quality and scale. LegalGEN makes it possible to serve more clients without adding staff, overhead, or hours.
Why we built LegalGEN
The founders of LegalGEN spent years practicing estate planning law and working inside legal technology companies. They noticed the same pattern everywhere: attorneys were great at estate planning. They were terrible at converting prospects into clients.
Not because of skill — because of process. The traditional estate planning workflow required multiple touchpoints before a client became a paying matter. Scheduling a consultation. Emailing intake forms. Chasing completed forms back. Manual data entry. Then drafting from scratch.
By the time most prospects made it through that gauntlet, a significant percentage had gone to LegalZoom, delayed indefinitely, or simply fallen through the cracks.
"The problem was never that people didn't want estate plans. The problem was that the process made it too easy to procrastinate — and too hard for attorneys to scale."
LegalGEN was designed from the ground up to solve this specific problem. Not a generic legal document tool — a purpose-built conversion platform for estate planning attorneys that works with your existing templates, your existing brand, and your existing workflows.
Today, solo attorneys and small firms use LegalGEN to handle client intake, generate documents using their own templates, collect payment online, and deliver completed estate plans in under one hour per client — without adding staff.

The values that drive everything
Attorney oversight is non-negotiable
Every document reviewed and approved by a licensed attorney. No exceptions. Automation assists — it never replaces legal judgment.
Your documents, your brand
We never put LegalGEN between an attorney and their client. Everything runs under the attorney's brand using the attorney's templates.
Specificity over generality
We serve one market — estate planning attorneys — and we serve it better than any general legal document platform ever could.
Radical transparency
What we can do, what we can't do, and what it costs. No hidden fees, no feature locks, no fine print surprises.
